Contract Instructional Designer
VIA is currently looking for freelance Instructional Designers with experience creating focused, engaging courseware that supports adult learning theory. The ideal candidate will also have experience editing technical content into conversational, scenario-based content with active voice, while adhering to localization best practices. Writing enterprise-level, globally distributed course content with a focus on retail or sales enablement training is a plus. Instructional Designers will develop audio scripting, onscreen text content and storyboards in MS Word or PowerPoint. This role may also include rapid tool course development (Storyline, Captivate) and/or additional Java scripting to support SCORM troubleshooting and LMS customizations. Contract Visual/Production Designer
Contract Course Developer
VIA is currently looking for freelance Course Developers with at least five years of experience developing eLearning modules to work with instructional design lead and project manager to create engaging and interactive learning solutions based on storyboard and artwork provided. Extensive experience with course tracking on a Learning Management System (LMS), as well as popular development tools including Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline and/or Storyline 2 preferred. Flash, illustration and animation skills are a plus. Solid knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design standards, and training media and methodologies strongly preferred. The idea candidate will demonstrate visual acuity and attention to detail, as well as bring fresh design/development ideas to the table.
