We take care of you

Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance: VIA pays 75% of the premium cost for employees and a portion of dependent coverage. Our medical plan allows you to choose from most all major medical networks in the Greater Portland area so you can decide which physician to see rather than the insurance company choosing for you.

Dental plan covers exams, cleaning and other dental services, any unused benefit is carried over to the next year for services the employee can use.

Annual eye exam and glasses or contacts are provided under our vision insurance. LASIK discounts are available under the vision plan.

Pre-tax Healthcare Premium: VIA maintains a Cafeteria Plan that allows employees to have their share of healthcare premiums deducted pre-tax saving you money.

401(k): VIA matches their employees’ contribution 100% up to the first 4% of their salary.

Life: Life and AD&D insurance is provided at no cost to employees.

Long-Term Disability: Income protection benefits are provided at no cost to employees.

Employee Assistance Program: Our EAP service helps you deal with the challenges you face in any of your many roles: employee, parent, spouse, child, friend, partner and even consumer. Up to four confidential counseling sessions are available each year for almost any issue, such as parenting problems, relationship issues, anxiety and stress. Help and discounts are also available for services such as: legal services, mediation, debt counseling, will preparation and more.

Personal Time Off: VIA promotes our employees’ health and wellness. We work hard, but we play hard too. We offer our employees Personal Time Off to use as they wish. Employees earn 15 days of PTO for years one and two of employment. Thereafter, employees with VIA earn 20 days of PTO for years three through six of employment. After that, employees earn 25 days of PTO per year.

Holidays: We offer 8 designated paid holidays each year.

Community Service & Giving Back: At VIA we believe in giving back to the communities where we live and work. We provide our employees with a day of Paid Time Off to use for the volunteer activity of their choice each year.

Each winter, VIA donates to a charitable organization selected by the employees.

In addition, VIA selects and funds Healthcare Translation Grant recipients every year. The annual donation program is one of the ways that VIA gives back to the community. This grant awards $1500 of in-kind translation services to two, separate, innovative healthcare organizations that that strive to improve healthcare access for underserved, limited English speaking (LEP) communities here in the U.S.
